Our farm has its very origins back in 1935, with our grandfather Emilio Trau'. Now our farm has developed through the years rising up to a 23 hectare land (approx. 57 acres) where we grow wheat, sunflower, fruit trees, a little vineyard and several olive trees that produce the multi-variety olive oil "IL FILARE" and, since 2011, the mono-variety olive oil "RAGGIA" and finally since 2012 the mono-variety oil "LECCINO".
To complete our farm activity, we have developed the "agriturismo".
The agriturismo la Tamerice (country house the Tamarix) is located in a relaxed context among the smooth and welcoming Marche hills, five minutes away from Marzocca beach, the natural prosecution towards south of the famous velvet-smooth sand beach of Senigallia. You can take nice walks on the hills nearby, or leave by car for excursions. Senigallia is an artistic and historical must-not-miss-visit just 10 minutes away by car.
Many other little historic traditional villages are more than worth of a visit, with their old fortresses and village walls, their churches bursting spirituality and art: Ostra, Ostra Vetere, Serra De'Conti, Montecarotto, Morro D'Alba, Corinaldo, Cupramontana, San Marcello and many others, each of them with its typical food, its wine and its traditions.
Moving just a little bit farther, you cannot miss Urbino, and its art, Loreto, and its Basilica, Recanati, which gave birth to the great poet Giacomo Leopardi, Jesi, the town of Frederick II Holy Roman Emperor (1194 - 1250), Gradara and its wonderful castle, and finally the astonishing Frasassi Caves.
Starting from here, you can discover our region, its wonderful landscapes framed by hills and sea, and taste its vast variety of genuine products and specialties.
